Lots of swash-buckling scary fun to be had at Blakemere Village this half-term with the Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail, Halloween Kid’s Tea Parties and Magical Woodland 2018 all topped off with a Halloween chocolate workshop…yum yum!

The Zombie Pirate Treasure Trail runs from 20th October to 4th November and is suitable from ages 4 upwards. Don your Halloween best and follow the spooky trail around the village in search of hidden treasure left behind by Zombie Pirates many centuries ago! There is even a prize for the best fancy dress – just tag us our Facebook page @BlakemereVillage!

The Village Restaurant hosts its annual Halloween Kid’s Tea Parties on 27 and 31 October including a disco, Halloween games and party food (UPDATE – tea parties are now fully booked for this year!).

The Magical Woodland takes place from 20 October until 2 November an interactive light and music experience with live performances set in the beautiful Cheshire Woodland. Entry is from £12.50 per person plus booking fee and under 4’s go free.

New for this year, is Halloween Chocolate Fun for Kids hosted by Cheshire Chocolate Studio. This is a fun interactive chocolate tasting, dipping and decorating workshop themed around Halloween so expect lots of chocolate-flavoured ghosties and spiders! There are two sessions on Tuesday 30 October and pre-bookable via this link – https://bit.ly/2NJY0ZD.

Half-term fun will end with a bang on Bonfire Night on 3 November including a spectacular and ultra child-friendly Bonfire and Fireworks display provided by Nemisis Pyrotechnics, runners-up in the British Fireworks Championships 2017. The child-friendly display, minus the noise and loud bangs takes place at 6.30 followed by the bonfire at 7pm and the main fireworks display with all the noise at 8.15pm. It’s sure to be a sell-out so pre-booking is recommended.
