Outdoor Fun galore at Blakemere this Summer!
Enjoy a fizztastic start to the summer at the Gin & FizzFest on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th June. This year will be one to remember with 4 bars, live DJ music, 21 gin varieties plus fizz from around the world! There is plenty lined up to entertain the children this summer, with the ever-popular Superhero & Princess trail running daily until 31st August to find everyone’s favourite superheroes hiding around the village. New for 2021, explore Fantasy Forest with lots of fun facts about the most popular heroes and heroines plus a goodie bag full of treats for every completed trail form! You can also dress up as your favourite Superhero or Princess, share it on @BlakemereVillage Facebook page and be in with a chance of winning a super prize! Trail maps can be purchased for £5 from the Visitor Info Centre daily between 10am – 4pm and is suitable for children aged 3 – 11 years. The trail is covid risk assessed with additional safety measures in place.
Also new for this year are Foodie market events every month from June to September with Pick & Mix events! Join in the fun at an inflatable family day out at Funtopia, with four dates to choose from in June, July and August and if that’s not enough excitement, the circus is coming to town in July! Sharland’s Funfair is open every weekend and school holidays from 11.30am until late featuring hook-a-duck, trampolines, and bumper cars to name but a few family funfair favourites! Rides are operated via a token system and cashless payment available with hand sanitisers on every ride.
