Looking for a fun-filled day out for your group with treasure hunting and a bit of friendly competition? Join us for Blakemere’s Bargain Hunt — the perfect experience for antique enthusiasts, vintage lovers, collectable seekers, and anyone looking for an enjoyable activity-filled day trip.
Itinerary:
Start your day with tea and coffee at The Village Restaurant before splitting into Red and Blue Teams to explore The Emporium, Farrow House, and QC Antiques to find a unique item.
Enjoy a two-course meal while experts evaluate your purchases*, announce the winning team, and share insights on history and trends.
Use free time to revisit shops and uncover hidden gems before departure.
Please allow 4 hours for the Bargain Hunt, refreshments, and lunch plus additional free time for shopping before departure.
Suggested arrival time 10am and departure time 3pm.
*Experts will evaluate items and calculate any additional value from the original purchase price.

Additional Information:
- Groups must book at least one month in advance of arrival.
- Blakemere’s Bargain Hunt experience is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, term-time only.
- Minimum group size: 20 people (bookings in multiples of 2, up to 52)
- Each visitor will receive a wristband which entitles them to a 5% discount (or 10% for cash payments) at The Emporium, Farrow House and QC Antiques for purchases over £20.
- One item per person can be included in the team’s evaluation
- No personal items for valuation (we host separate valuation days)
- Bookings must be cancelled at least 2 weeks in advance
- For coach companies: Please check storage availability for purchases, packaging, and postage options.
