Hop aboard for family fun with The Mid Cheshire Society of Model Engineers Miniature Railway!
We run trains on Sundays throughout the year, unless the weather is exceptionally poor, between 12:00 noon and 4:00pm. We also run on most bank holidays and on most Wednesdays during the school holidays. As well as the Society’s own battery-electric locomotive, trains may be hauled by members’ locomotives (an assortment of steam, battery or petrol machines). A ride around one circuit of the track (which was extended in 2022) costs £1 per person (children under the age of four go free). Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are only able to take cash; unfortunately, we cannot take payments by card or other means.
